Confidential (2020) Represent major food processing company in air pollution permitting process and defense of air pollution civil penalties.

Association of Irritated Residents v. USEPA, 790 F.3d 934 (2015). Represented coalition of industry and agricultural groups in successful defense of EPA retroactive approval of relaxed permitting rules that apply to agricultural sources of air pollution.

Communities for Better Environment v. San Joaquin APCD, 5th District Court of Appeals F073517 (2017).  Defended CEQA challenge to permitting large rail terminal/crude oil shipping operation in Kern County.

Building Industry Association v. District, 178 Cal.App.4th 120 (2009).Successfully defended challenge by statewide building industry to air pollution regulation controlling emissions from land development.

National Association of Homebuilders v. District, 627 F.3d 730 (9th Cir. 2010).  Successfully defended federal court challenges to District rule regulating development.

Confidential (2016).  Represented major engineering firm in grand jury proceedings involving environmental spill.

SJVUAPCD v. California Air Resources Board. Litigated two actions against California seeking mitigation of air pollution  transported from San Francisco Bay area into the San Joaquin Valley.

Association of Irritated Residents v. District, 423 F.3d 989 (9th Circuit 2005). Successfully defended challenge to District's serious PM110 attainment plan under Federal Clean Air Act.
